на першому етапі відбувається очищення вибоїн струменем напірного потоку повітря;
потім в повітряний потік впорскується (під встановленим тиском) емульсія, яка, надходячи на поверхню, проникає у всі тріщини і пори пошкодженої поверхні;
далі в суміш повітря і емульсії додається необхідна кількість щебеню, який поступово, разом з емульсією, заповнює простір, що ремонтується;
ділянка, що ремонтується, посипається сухим щебенем (шляхом відключення подачі емульсії).
Усі функції контролюються з позиції оператора, тобто з робочого місця біля котловану. Надбудова працює від допоміжного дизельного двигуна або силової гідравліки шасі. Конструкція установки дозволяє по-різному прикріплювати надбудову до транспортних засобів.
