Description
DAF Trucks NV - Netherlands manufacturer of trucks, a division of Paccar since 1996DAF was founded in 1928, but only after the Second World War began for the establishment of trucks, trailers and buses. DAF A30, put outin 1949, became the first model of the truck company. In 1955, there were sketches of DAF trucks with belt drive, and in 1959 - the world's first car DAF 600 with continuously variable transmission.
The interests of consumers - the main priority of DAF. Low cost of transportation, high quality, comfort, driver's minimal impact on the environment and the high productivity of all products of DAF, therefore, not surprising that in 2008 the share of the company had 12% of the market for heavy trucks in Western Europe.
