Been driving the new Renault Master for work for about three months. The thing feels much more modern than the old one. It’s huge on the outside, but the driving position makes it feel like a much smaller van - good visibility from those massive windows is a big plus round the city. Love how tight the turning circle is, makes U-turns on narrow roads less of a headache.

Engine’s got decent punch, mine’s the 130hp diesel. Never feel short of torque, even loaded up. Fuel economy is about what you’d expect, probably could be better but it’s alright. Suspension’s a bit bouncy when empty… settles after you throw some gear in. Annoying thing, brakes are so sharp. Took me a while to stop making my coffee go everywhere. Still, for everyday stuff, the Master gets the job done without much fuss.

Ran a Renault Master for our delivery route. Fuel efficiency is commendable, helping on longer trips. Though, noise insulation could use improvement; roads felt more noticeable inside the cabin. Parts availability has been consistent. Overall, it manages the payload with ease and ensures an effective driving experience.

I’ve driven the Renault Master for several months now, and here’s my take. The cabin is practical and user-friendly, with adjustable features that enhance driving long distances. Performance-wise, the engine warms up quickly even in cold winters. However, the positioning of certain controls felt awkward initially, requiring some adjustment time. Still, it’s a functional and reliable workhorse.

Spent a week working with the Renault Master 6x2 on multi-drop duties. The built-in side door accelerated unloading times significantly, and the cab felt straightforward to navigate. One issue was its extended length needing extra care on narrow streets, though manageable with time. For me, the cost was warranted by its load versatility and performance. Definitely a noteworthy option for medium-scale operators.

Short take from a daily driver. The electric E-Tech has only 75 miles range from a 33kWh pack - fine if you do local drops, useless if you need to run all day. Charging on a 7kW wallbox takes about 6 hours so plan your shifts. Warranty is 3 years/100k and services are every 24k or 2 years, E-Tech needs an earlier first check at 12k or one year. The Master comes in lots of sizes and GVMs so you can spec what you actually need, that versatility is useful. Interior is practical and big, but the spec level feels basic; missing a touchscreen and cruise control on many vans is annoying. Styling looks a bit dated but who cares when you need space, still some mixed feelings though.

I've been driving the Renault Master for a few years now, and overall, it's a decent vehicle for daily use. The engine starts reliably in colder conditions, as long as the glow plugs are in good shape. The interior isn't luxurious but gets the job done. One point of improvement could be the noise level at high speeds, which gets noticeable. However, for its price and functionality, it fits many purposes efficiently.

So I've been driving my 2009 Renault Master for a while now, around two years, and it’s been through a lot with me - over 130k km on the dash. Starts up in the dead of winter, even after sitting for days, so all that talk about diesels never working in cold - not seeing it. Might be 'cause I keep the glow plugs sorted, but still, it’s solid there. I do run into some noise issues, like the engine just gets really loud on the highway - can’t say that’s fun on long trips, and I wouldn’t try pushing the speed, it just doesn’t like that. Maintenance hasn't killed my wallet, oil changes feel pretty cheap for what you’re getting. The thing doesn’t rot through like some other vans, that’s a big relief. Not perfect though, had to sort out injector problems and some weird generator issue that messed with the revs, but nothing catastrophic. For the price and what it does - can’t complain much. Storage in the back is plenty if you strip the seats, and making space for tools or whatever is dead easy.

I had the opportunity to utilize a Renault Master for transporting goods in colder seasons. Its engine performed reliably even in freezing conditions, and fuel consumption was economical. One downside is the manually operated parking brake mechanism that tends to clog over time due to exposure to debris.

So, driving the new Master, it's solid, but not all perfect. The dashboard has bunch of settings, but it's way too much and annoys me more than helps. Mirrors give a wide view, but they get dirty super fast from road spray. Right mirror shakes a lot, it's like watching a dance show. Heater works but in cold weather you still feel a chill on your left foot, which sucks for long shifts.

Seats are alright, got plenty of back support, but the armrest is weird as hell - not adjustable and your arms sit uneven, gets annoying. Got cruise control, which is nice, but sound system is weak. Front wipers, don't even get me started, seem like they're off some used car, barely clear the glass right from day one. Maintenance? Not had big issues so far, but stuff like wipers or bad mirrors on a brand new van is annoying. I’d say the van is practical, but some stuff shoulda been fixed by now.

I tested the 2025 Renault Master for my transportation tasks. The van features impressive technology, including the optional digital rear-view mirror, which enhances visibility significantly. On the downside, the sloped storage cubby below the gear lever caused items to slide out while driving. Diesel efficiency is decent, providing a good range from its fuel tank. The vehicle feels stable on highways, even under load. It's a modern design focused on practicality while delivering adequate performance.
