Der Mercedes-Benz 280 SE 3.5 gilt als das Topmodell der Baureihe W111
die von 1961 bis 1971 von Daimler-Benz produziert wurde. Sowohl in der Coupé- als auch in der Cabrio-Ausführung besticht der Klassiker bis heute mit Stil und Eleganz
Zwischen 1969 und 1971 wurden insgesamt nur 3270 Coupés gebaut
Dieses wunderschöne und seltene 280 SE 3.5 Coupé wurde 1971 als eines der letzten 300 Fahrzeuge produziert und ausgeliefert. Zwischen 2014 und 2016 wurde dieses Coupé von deutschen Fachfirmen aufwändig und liebevoll restauriert
eine Fotodokumentation ist vorhanden ebenso viele Belege. Die Karosserie wurde dabei vollkommen entlackt und in Weinrot DB 542 neu lackiert. Die Lederausstattung wurde liebevoll in 2-ton Cognac komplett mit Teppich und Innenhimmel erneuert. Eine weitere Besonderheit ist das vordere Sitzkissen und die aufpreispflichtige Lenkradautomatik. Technisch wurden u.a. die Achsen
Motor & Getriebe ebenso aufwändig überholt. Der Wert der oben aufgeführten Arbeiten beläuft sich auf ca. 120.000 EUR
